Peek-a-Boo!!

Caden does not really enjoy long periods in the car (I guess I wouldn't really want to stare at my head rest for 5 hours either) so we try and keep him entertained. As soon as you give him a toy, dvd case, pacifier, or WHATEVER, he immediately tosses it over his seat (to the door side, of course) and then starts complaining quite loudly. We quickly learned that peek-a-boo keeps him quite entertained until, of course, the hat or blankie hits the floor between his carseat and the door!!

Just saying the word "bath" in our house creates such excitement! Can you tell?

We love you Grandpa!!

Grandpa (Jeff's dad) passed away this morning and is already dearly missed. He was a wonderful and loving father, grandpa, husband and friend. We are very grateful and blessed for the time we were given with him. We love you Grandpa!!

I thought this was too funny!! If bed head is a sign of a good nap, then Cade had a GREAT one this afternoon!! Look at that hair.

A Day at the Lake!!

We spent the day at the lake with the family. We had a great time! Nicholas and Jackson are becoming so brave when it comes to the tube ride. We got nothin' but thumbs up (GO FASTER!) from those two. Caden wasn't really sure about the life jacket as it fit him more like a neck brace but he cowboyed up and enjoyed the day!!

Caden is 11 months old today! Where has the time gone? He is enjoying life to the fullest and keeping the rest of us on our toes! It is definitely a challenge trying to unpack with a baby on the move.
