Bear Valley, CA

We went to Bear Valley for the weekend with Jill and John's family right after Christmas! We had such a good time. We rented this quaint little cabin that was just perfect for all of us. The kids enjoyed playing outside in the snow and did so for hours on end. Jenna, Jocelyn, and I made the BEST snowman ever one afternoon, that was a lot of fun! Jackson took a half day ski lesson to improve his beginner skills and Nick took a snowboard lesson. Nicholas is really catching on to this sport quite easily and LOVES it! Here are some random pics of our fun filled weekend...

Jeff and me on the snowmobile! We rented some snowmobiles on Sunday morning and even had little trailers to pull the kiddos with. They loved it (even Cade who was sick that weekend and NOT himself at all) and wanted to go, 'FASTER' every opportunity they had. It's so beautiful being out there among the mountains and the snow!

How else do you finish off a day of hard skiing/snowboarding fun? Why, the hot tub, of course!! This hot tub was on the deck of our cabin and the kids enjoyed relaxing in it even though it was drizzling outside. What fun!!
