....from a park you hear the happy sounds from a carousel, you can almost taste the hotdogs and french fries they sell, under the boardwalk down by the sea, on a blanket with my baby ... is where I'll be!
We spent the afternoon on the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz yesterday. The weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The sun was out and the high was 64 degrees! It was perfect! We had a friend, Corey, visiting us from Texas and decided a nice, cool day at the beach was in store. Nicholas rode his first rollercoaster and loved it. And then quickly rode it again. We hung out on the boardwalk all afternoon, riding rides and eating funnel cake and fried cheesecake and corn dogs. And then we drove over to the pier and had some yummy seafood for dinner. It was a very fun day!

There were Sea Lions sun-bathing everywhere on the pier! The boys enjoyed checking them out! And this one little guy actually talked to us for a bit!
People were fishing off of the pier and this one woman caught this starfish! Jack looked at the starfish and excitedly proclaimed, 'If that were a REAL starfish, it would be REALLY cool!' Um, hello?

Looks like fun!! I'm impressed Nicholas rode the roller coaster. Jonathan would LOVE to ride on one; Josh, not so much. Is Jackson really almost as tall as Nicholas??? It looks like it in one of those pictures. I'll bet he's a lot taller than Jordan...he's my "little" guy!
