Nicholas has been wanting a new bike for quite some time. A "trick" bike. Our next door neighbor, Spencer, gave him his old bike a couple of weeks ago and that was nice. Well, Spencer decided he wanted the old bike back because that was the only bike he could pop wheelies on... so what's a poor kid to do. Nicholas gave him the bike back. Jeff and I decided we'd just buy Nicholas a bike for this birthday (which is next month.) Turns out we found this great bike on clearance (a deal that truly could not be passed up) and went ahead and bought it early. There was no point in trying to hide it, especially since we have another child who knows how to talk and is always eager to share juicy "secrets". Nicholas LOVES his new bike and has already mastered a new "trick"!
